The DAWA Project started in January 2011 with the goal to reach as many young people as possible. DAWA translates to learn/study in the Kalabari language.  With various art programs being cut out and closed in so many public schools, there is a need to cultivate and support our future leaders as they go on to develop their gifts and talents. The DAWA Project aims to empower our young persons and help teach the values of self-worth, honesty, confidence, artistic ability and compassion while supporting their communities.

Become an Ambassador

The DAWA Project strives to cultivate and support our future female leaders as they go on to develop their artistic talents and gifts.  This project is only as successful as the individuals who see the importance in continuing the education and mentoring with these young ladies.
